How Can I Close a Loan?

If there is a need for you to close a loan that is not yet disbursed, you can now be able to so with just a few clicks. Simply follow the following steps:

1. Click on the Loans Tab and select the loan you’d like to close.
   
   
   
   

2. Click on the Decline Loan button on the top right.
   
   
   
   
3. You should view a pop-up that asks you to confirm the action you are about to take and add a comment about why you are closing the loan.
   
   
   
   
4. Once you click on the Update button, you will now successfully be able to close the loan. The record of this action will also be added to the loan history tab including the reason why it was closed and who closed the loan.
   
   

Voila! You can now close loans before they are disbursed
