How To Configure Remita on The Admin Portal

Remita is a 3rd-party service used for collections on Originate. It works by debiting the customer's account.

To configure Remita:

1. Navigate to the Loan Products tab
   
2. Click on Edit on the specific loan product you want to configure Remita
   
3. On the Financials section, if you will be setting up a late fee charge, ensure it is a fixed amount.
   The late fee should be set up as a fixed amount on the principal portion and should be a one-off charge.
   
4. Navigate to the Loan Attributes section:
   Enable Requires Remita Direct Debit
   Enable Remita (Direct Debit)
   
5. Click on Continue to move to the next page and Complete the process.
