The new KYC configurations page offers users the ability to configure the minimum requirements page in the onboarding process, offering flexibility to meet diverse merchant needs.
This means that users can create, edit, and manage the customer KYC information required during signup.
To access the KYC configuration page, simply go to the Settings tab and click on KYC Configuration.
Customer Information
In this section, users can configure and customize the information they want customers to provide.
Some of the information that can be configured in this section includes:
- Marital Status
- Gender
- House Number
- Residential Address
- State of Residence
- Local Government Area (LGA)
- Government IDs like NIN, International Passport, Driver's License etc.
- Any generic information required from all customers, irrespective of the loan product they would select.
Tips:
You can remove or delete the fields you do not require by clicking on the delete button beside each field, as shown below:
To add a new section to the Customer Information form, simply drag and drop the sections from the list displayed on the right side of the page, as demonstrated in the video below:
To make a section on the form optional or required, simply check or uncheck the required button as shown below:
When a dropdown, multiple checkbox, or radio (single answer option) component is used, you can add an option by clicking on the Add option button.
Once the customer information form is successfully configured, click on Save to save all entries.
Minimum Requirement
In this section, a user can configure the minimum requirement that will be shown to customers applying on their portal.
Some examples of the requirements that can be configured are listed in the screenshot below:
Tips:
To add an item to the list of requirements, click on the Add Item button.
To delete an item from the list of requirements, click on the delete button beside each item, as shown in the screenshot below:
Once the configuration is complete, click on Save to save all entries.
