We worked on an update that allows merchants to change an approval workflow and revert an approval workflow step.
How to change an approval workflow Name:
- On the customer's application details page, click on the Edit button beside the Approval Workflow Name section
- Select the new approval workflow from the list
- Click on Update Workflow to save the changes
Please take a look at the video below for clarification.
Note: When the approval workflow name is changed, the application is taken to the first step in the new approval workflow.
How to Change An Approval Workflow Step
There are two ways to change an approval workflow step:
Option 1
- On the customer's application details page, click on the Edit button beside the Approval Workflow Step section
- Select the step you wish to update or revert to.
- Please, note that currently, the step number is not specified.
- For example, if there are 2 Review, 2 Approve and 1 disburse steps in the approval workflow:
- Step 1 is the first Review
- Step 2 is the second Review
- Step 3 is the first Approve
- Step 4 is the second Approve
- Step 5 is Disburse
- Click on Update Step to save the changes
- The changes made are recorded in the Application History and Loan History (where the loan ID has already been created) tab.
Option 2
The approval workflow can be updated by clicking on Revert Review. A comment box will be displayed to add a comment or reason for moving the application back (this is optional). When the comment is entered, click on Revert Review to save the updates.
This option will move the application back to the previous step (e.g from step 4 to step 3).
The video below illustrates this further.
Note:
- A user must have the User can update an application details privilege added to their role in order to change the approval workflow name or approval workflow step
- An approval workflow step can be updated and reverted as much as required.
- You can also revert the status of an approved application even if a loan portfolio has been created. When this happens, the loan status will be changed to On-Hold until the application status is updated and approved. This is illustrated in the videos below.
- Where there is more than one Review, Approve, or Disburse step, it will be displayed in the format configured, for you to select the step applicable.
