A new feature was added to the admin portal so users can reverse duplicate or erroneous transactions.
To reverse a transaction;
- Log into the admin portal
- Search for the loan using the Loan ID
- Go to the Transactions tab
- Click on the three-dotted lines (ellipses) beside the repayment you wish to reverse
- Click on the Confirm Reversal button to reverse the repayment
Once this is done, the repayment will be reversed and recorded on the Loan History tab for audit purposes.
Please, note that the reversal is not done in synchronization with your Paystack account. This means that after reversing the transaction on Originate, you need to reverse/refund on your Paystack or other means, for the customer to get the money back.
