No, there isn’t a specific check in place to confirm this. It is expected that the customer provides a clear BVN printout or details that have been duly verified either by their bank or by the client through whom they are seeking the loan.
Is adding an email compulsory?
No, it is not mandatory. A customer can be created without an email address by leaving the email field blank. The system will generate an email for the customer to facilitate the card tokenization process.
Can the email generated by the customer be accessed by them or used to receive notifications?
No, it is not accessible and cannot be used for receiving notifications. However, it is advisable to use the customer’s active email address, if available, to address this.
Can the amount applied for be changed?
No, it is not required. This is a task performed on the admin portal and does not affect the customer’s application process.
Can an agent create the customer halfway and the customer completes the rest part of the application?
We recommend that the agent complete the application end-to-end.
How do I know which agent created a customer and an application?
The name is displayed under the channel field on the customers’ tab on the admin portal.
